The first appearance of Cain the monkey. Cain was based on a friend of mine named Matt Cain who, on one random bar night, asked me to put him in a strip as a monkey. His girlfriend at the time (now his wife) asked to be a star, so I always have Cain wearing a shirt with a star on it. Timing is everything.
