Besides being the last (thank God!) Jewish Princess-related strip, there are two interesting things about this cartoon. One is the cameo of Chief Illiniwek, the controversial University of Illinois mascot that dominated campus debate for years and years.
The other factoid has to do with the “Save the Bunny” t-shirt, which was an homage to Bob & Dave—a classic Daily Illini comic that was currently running a “readers’ decide” series on the fate of a cartoon bunny. (I think the bunny lived in the end.)
