Around this time (late 2000), the hot thing in college was "purity tests": long quizzes (usually 100 questions) that asked all sorts of personal question in a yes-or-no format, most of which had to do with sex, alcohol and drugs. The more times you answer "yes", the lower your score got, and the less pure you were. In almost every purity test, to achieve a "perfect score" of zero, you'd have to be involved in an animal orgy.
